Submitting a Design

The whole point of ToledoLand and the organizations it supports is getting Toledoans to take ownership of the city's future. Many people cite a plethora of reasons why Toledo continues to struggle economically. The politicians, the lack of jobs, the failing auto industry, brain drain, etc. "Why would anyone want to stay here if there aren't any opportunities?" everyone seems to ask. "Why would anyone be required to sacrifice their careers or success for a city like Toledo?"

Well, the fact of the matter is that sacrifices are always made when you have to tend to something you care about, whether it's a sick kid, a faltering business or your first car. And Toledo is no different, requiring a sacrifice from all those who care about it.

You have a choice: you can blame the politicians or General Motors or cite any one of a thousand problems and just leave them to someone else to fix. Or you can take responsibility. There are many organizations around town in which one can get involved and we all know we need some new faces in political positions.

ToledoLand is just one option. You can live anywhere in the world but once you buy a shirt of ours, you can wear it proud, supporting a place that too often has become a punchline.

You can also design a shirt, with your own representation of what Toledo has to offer. Not only will you help out local arts, charities and advocacy groups with your cool design, but you will make $2.00 with every shirt you sell. You just design and ToledoLand does all the work.

Designs must meet the approval of ToledoLand's administration. They must not contain any profanity or inappropriate content.
